Please Read Carefully If You Are Considering Renting This House

This house is actually located on the side of a hill.  Great pains were taken to leave as much of the natural trees and vegetation intact.  There are beautiful Oak, Hickory, Walnut and Poplar trees surrounding the house.  The last 75 feet of the access road is only accessible by a 4x4 vehicle, ATV, Dirtbike or walking. 

Please consider this if you have a lot of gear to bring.  Here is a Picture:

• Please note that this area is home for Deer, Wild Turkey, Pheasant, Squirrels, Rabbits, Groundhogs, Doves, Chipmunks, Butterflies and various Songbirds.
• Also note that this same area is also home to Black Bears, Bobcats, Coyotes, Skunks, Snakes, Lizards, Foxes, Spiders and a few species of undesirable flying insects.

• We do not have city water, we have filtered well water for cleaning and bathing.
• We supply bottled water for your cooking and drinking needs.

• There is a watch dog in the fenced yard at the bottom of the hill.  Normally he is not very noisy, but he will bark if something or somebody comes on the property.

If any of this bothers you, you may want to reconsider your stay.

Now Some Good Stuff! Morel Mushrooms (the locals call them "Molly Moochers") can be found in April.Lots of good trout fishing during the winter and spring months.

R U L E S

Reservations must post a $100.00 security deposit - this will hold your reservation dates. We offer nice accommodations at affordable prices, we expect respectful guests who will care for the house/property. Let us know in advance if you have pets (dogs and/or cats) so that we can arrange proper accommodations. Drop-In guests are allowed - Full rental price AND security deposit is required. Drinking and Smoking are allowed on the property, However you must be courteous and respectful of the neighbors.  We take pride in offering a low security deposit and will not tolerate destruction of the property / premises. Any destruction will forfeit the deposit and you will still be responsible for the rental bill. Deposits are not refundable but may be held for use at a later date if you cancel your stay at least 7 days in advance. Cancellations within 7 days of your reservation forfeits your deposit. Deposit will be returned via mail or PayPal once the rooms have been cleaned and inspected for damages and/or theft.
